To Our Residents and Family Members:

We want to inform you that we have received confirmation that one employee of Marshall Rehabilitation & Nursing Center have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Resident safety is our top priority and we are doing everything we can to ensure we prevent the spread of COVID-19 within our facility. All residents are being tested today and we will notify you of the results once we have received them. The identified employee has been removed from the schedule and are not permitted to work at this time.
We are staying in very close communication with local and state health officials to ensure we are taking all the appropriate steps. Visitation is not recommended at this time, however, we understand the impact that it can have not being around your loved ones. Visitation would be at your own risk.
We encourage you to call our center at Marshall Rehabilitation & Nursing Center and ask for Erica Kremitzki for updates on the status of your loved one. Please understand that due to the nature of this virus and the numerous steps involved in preventing its spread, much time is spent on resident care and appropriate infection control practices. However, we will do our very best to answer your calls as they come in and/or to return your calls promptly.
We also understand that connecting with family members is incredibly important to our residents. Family members are encouraged to continue connecting with their loved ones through video chat, calling, texting, or other social media formats.
We will contact you if your loved one is suspected or diagnosed with COVID-19. We know this is a difficult time for everyone. We will continue to provide you with updates as they become available.
